RANKED BALLOT TIPS
Pro-Life Voters
If you are a pro-life CPC voter who does not feel comfortable voting for a leader that supports the current law on abortion (legal abortion up until full term birth), than the above ballot is recommended for you.
By only filling out your first choice, and leaving the rest blank, you are sending a message to the Conservative Party of Canada that the life issue is a non-negotiable issue for you and that your support of the party will depend on their position on abortion and related conscience issues (such as the right for a medical professional not to participate in the procedure if it transgresses their conscience).

This may be because they have more than one candidate that they favour, or because they are trying to block their "last choice" from possibly winning.
How Ranked Ballots Work:
When you choose a #2 (and onward) candidate then IF your first choice drops off, your #2 choice will now become your first. If your second choice drops off, then your #3 choice will become your first choice.
